How a Girl accidentally ended up writing a Tolerable Blog

by Lisa Polesello on March 19, 2022

Hi! I'm Lisa and I love the sun, hot weather and seaside, so I decided to move to London where it is cloudy, rainy and very, very dark during winter time!
So you might think "why the hell did she moved to London?" .. Well, there were a mix of weird circumstances combined with the fact that I love this city so much!!
Actually, let's say that between me and London there always been a strange feeling of love-hate..

Do you know what I mean?

In this city I had the best experiences of my life, I saw the strangest things ever, I felt in love with so many places, people (don't get me wrong) animals, exhibitions, colours.. And I had the worst moments of my life.. London is a mix of everything, one day it can be your wonderland and the day after your nightmare.. But I think all of us need a little bit of "London" in life..

Don't you agree?

Well, thanks to this city, about 2 years ago I have been able to create Lunatic_pin, my first online shop in which I’m selling handmade clothing made by me, to trade at my first market and to open a blog.. Yeah, this is the begging of my blog and if you don't know me, you are maybe thinking this is not a big deal.. But if you know me, you know that I always been the super shy girl, scared of everything, super insecure who was always behind her best friend trying to avoid any kind of confrontation or to share her ideas.. Oh yeah and more important, the girl who was never going to be able to learn English (high school teacher quote).

So, just going back on my first sentence, that's why I love London and I love my life so much!

In this space I want to tell you more about my small business, my values, my endless love for sewing and, of course, the story behind my handmade products. I also recently decided I want to be a better person with the world (mostly planet and animals, I don't think human beings deserve more than what I am already doing) so I want to share with you some tips or ways to live in a more sustainable way.

It will be a space with a bunch of personal thoughts and experiences.
So, nice to meet you and I will see you soon!

Lisa
